North Highland announces changes to board of directors
February 27, 2015
Global management consulting firm North Highland announced today that Rear Admiral Marsha (Marty) Evans has been elected as non-Executive Chairman of the Board. Evans has been a board member since 2008, serving as Chair for the Governance Committee and a member of the Compensation Committee.
During Evans’ 30-year career with the Navy, she distinguished herself as one of only a handful of women to reach the rank of Rear Admiral. Additionally, after retiring from the Navy, Evans went on to lead several non-profit organizations, including the Girls Scouts of the USA and the American Red Cross.
“We are excited to have Marty take on the role of Chairman and the expanded responsibilities that come with the position. Her broad background focused on leadership, diversity and corporate governance will continue to benefit our firm. I look forward to working alongside her to further advance North Highland’s long-term goals,” said Dan Reardon, North Highland CEO.
Evans is replacing current non-Executive Chairman Michael W. Trapp, who is retiring from the board, after serving as a director for more than 15 years and as Chairman since 2012.
“We thank Mike for his years of service, helping to support the growth of North Highland; he’s been an incredibly valuable partner and advisor for me personally and to our firm,” said Reardon.
In addition to North Highland, Evans is also a Director of Weight Watchers International and the First Tee along with serving as a speaker for business and community audiences on issues of importance.
