North Highland Named "Best Firm to Work For" for Sixth Consecutive Year by Consulting Magazine
February 25, 2014
For the sixth consecutive year, Consulting Magazine, the leading magazine for consulting professionals, recently named global consulting company North Highland as a best company to work for worldwide. Ranked third on the "2012 Best Firms to Work For" list, North Highland has consistently placed in the top four every year since 2007. In addition, Consulting Magazine named North Highland as the number one company for work/life balance. The rankings are determined by the results of Consulting Magazine's annual survey completed by more than 13,000 consulting professionals representing approximately 400 firms.
Employee ownership, transparency and a commitment to upholding the culture of the company are key elements that contribute to North Highland's consistent high ranking. Operating under a consultancy model where all North Highland employees have ownership in the company allows individuals to advance their career while maintaining and enriching their personal lives.
"We're proud to be on the 'Best Firms to Work For' list for six years in a row and of the fact that we're the number one company for work/life balance, which confirms our commitment to our employees," said Dan Reardon, North Highland CEO. "Consulting is hard work so we want them to enjoy their down time. We also feel that it's important that our consultants continue to expand their expertise and pursue their interests to maximize their personal and professional development."
In addition to scoring highest in work/life balance, North Highland was also noted as a top company in the categories of culture, compensation and benefits, client engagement, career development and leadership.
The complete ranking and survey findings are published in the August 2012 issue of Consulting Magazine and at www.consultingmag.com.
