The North Highland Holding Company, Inc., parent company of global consulting firm North Highland, is pleased to welcome Loretta Penn to the company's Board of Directors. Penn's background in customer growth, retention and measurement, leveraging best practices across various functions, and workforce development and management, reflects North Highland's ongoing commitment to delivering value to clients and shareholders reinforcing the firm's strong culture of excellence for its employee-owners.
As former President and Chief Service Excellence Officer at SFN Group Inc., previously known as Spherion Corp., Penn successfully managed both small and large business units ranging in size to over $1B. She was responsible for growth, profitability, service delivery and other strategic operational direction across 500+ company-owned, licensed and franchised offices nationwide. In addition, Penn developed and led strategies focused on candidate and client retention, ensuring SFN Group Inc.'s service excellence differentiation was effectively communicated. Prior to this, Penn had managed some of the largest client relationships and served as President of the Legal Staffing division.

Prior to joining SFN Group Inc., Penn spent nine years in the recruiting and staffing industry as an executive in charge of commercial staffing field operations and a health care business unit. She was previously employed by IBM for 10 years in sales, marketing and executive management positions. Penn excelled in sales and marketing and consistently attained IBM's highest recognition award on an annual basis. Penn was promoted to Marketing and Regional Management positions prior to leaving IBM and embarking upon a career in the staffing and recruiting industry.

Penn joins North Highland's current board members including: Michael Trapp, Marsha Evans, Robert Guido, Frank Muller, David Peterson, Dan Reardon and Nick Shreiber.

Penn is founder and President of PECC, LLC, an executive coaching and consulting company focused on C-level executives and senior management. Penn's training and experience provides clients with expertise in talent acquisition, strategy development and execution, leadership and operational effectiveness. Penn is an accomplished speaker on leadership and the 21st century workforce. Penn also currently serves on the Board of Directors for TECO Energy, Inc. and the Caruth Institute for Learning, Lyle School of Engineering at Southern Methodist University.
