Federal Agency Expands Workforce by 175 While Improving Talent Management Capabilities

CHRO, People and Change, Public Sector

The United States Visitor and Immigrant Status Indicator Technology (US-VISIT – now OBIM) Homeland Security program collects and maintains biometric identification data and provides analyses to identify the risk potential of US visitors. Faced with the need to more than double its workforce, US-VISIT's Human Capital and Training (HCT) branch was also directed to become a more proactive, strategic human capital partner.

North Highland helped the organization address its immediate tactical needs, while designing and supporting long-term transformation goals. The effort gave the HCT branch policies, programs, infrastructure, and resources to improve employee recruitment, stabilize retention and support critical national safety programs.
