Nashville
North Highland’s Nashville office is a testament to our work-life balance and the benefits of our local model. This office was opened in 1999 by a group of former Big 5 consultants who were looking for a way to get off the road while continuing to do what they loved. This office was built from the ground up, and as just one indicator of its success, Business Tennessee magazine recently ranked North Highland #1 in its size category on the list of Top Employers in Tennessee.
Today our office has over 35 accounts and continues to grow. While much of our work is based in the healthcare industry, we also serve clients in the insurance and music industries, as well as the public sector.

Nancy has over 18 years of management consulting experience, including many years of Big-5 consulting in the areas of project management, packaged systems design and implementation, and process reengineering including manufacturing, distribution, and financials. Nancy was part of the leadership team that founded our Nashville office and also serves on the board of the local American Heart Association.

Doug has 19 years of experience in the consulting industry and was instrumental in starting North Highland’s Nashville office. Doug specializes in business development, customer strategy, and marketing. Prior to joining the company in 1999, he served as national director of business development at Arthur Andersen LLP. During that time, Doug drove the development of an integrated business development model for consulting, tax, and audit services. He also serves on the Junior Achievement Board of Directors in Nashville.

Fletcher has over 15 years of healthcare experience specializing in healthcare information technology implementations, process improvement, clinical, and patient management information technology evaluation and selection. Fletcher led a team at the largest lab company in the United States, bringing in $20 million in cash. He also worked with a leading practice management company executing A/R assessments in multi-specialty facilities.

Brian Simmons has 17 years of experience in business and technology solutions consulting, with a focus in the retail, consumer products, distribution, and healthcare industries. Specific areas of expertise include process improvement, requirements definition, strategy development, complex project and program management, business case development, and vendor software (ERP and others) selection and implementation.
