North Highland opened the Tampa office in 2005. Since then, our office has doubled in revenue every year and has made a positive impression on the local business community. We have recently been recognized by the Tampa Bay Business Journal as the third Best Place to Work in Tampa Bay in the "nearly big" category. Linda Ferrone

Vice President and Local Office Leader

Linda has over 20 years of experience working with companies to improve their performance through strategic planning and execution, professional facilitation, organizational change management, performance management, and supply chain management. She is an active leader in the community, serving as a Commissioner for the Orlando Utility Commission, Board member for the Orlando Science Center, and member of the National Entrepreneur Center 100 Club. Prior to joining North Highland, Linda held management positions with Ernst & Young, Radiant Systems, and The Quaker Oats Company. She holds a BS in Industrial and Systems Engineering from The Ohio State University.

Karl Nebel

Vice President

Karl has over 20 years of experience in helping companies improve their business operations through strategic planning, marketing, process improvement, systems management and organizational change. He is active on several local non-profit boards and has helped place North Highland team members in a variety of community-focused organizations. He has been active with the Metro Orlando EDC for over 10 years and is now a member of the board. Karl has a BS in Computer Science from the University of Florida and an M.B.A. from the University of Central Florida. His industry background includes Lockheed-Martin, Disney, Orlando Health, and Florida Hospital.

John Slot

Vice President

John has over 17 years of consulting and industry experience, specializing in strategic planning and execution, facilitation, process improvement, financial analysis, business operations, and performance improvement. He has worked across many industries with a focus on hospitality, consumer products, transportation, finance, power generation, and custom software development. Prior to joining North Highland, John held management positions with First Data Corporation, in support operations, application development, and business integration.
