North Highland’s David Calver Named a Project Professional of the Year by APM

North Highland’s David Calver, Mid Level Project Manager, was named Project Professional of the Year by the Association of Project Management (APM) Awards. The APM Project Management Awards 2019 recognizes the best individuals, projects and programs the profession has to offer. The Project Professional of the Year Award recognizes the professionals and specialists that have made a significant contribution to the outputs, outcomes and benefits of their projects, programs and portfolios.

As a finalist for the award, David created and delivered a 20-minute presentation to the awards’ judging panel, describing a client delivery project and bringing it to life for the judges by discussing what went well, the challenges he faced and how he overcame those challenges.

David’s work focuses in the Program and Project Management (PPM) space, helping some of the largest organizations deliver solutions from portfolio management through project execution across the UK and US. For his presentation, David discussed delivering leading edge technology to support a change in the ways of working at his clients’ headquarters in Cambridge. He embraced the client culture to provide multiple IT and audio-visual solutions delivering enhanced employee experience, better collaboration and increased staff efficiencies to over 6,000 staff members globally. As a result of this project, the client cited North Highland’s adaptable approach as key in providing value for their organization.

In addition, the firm has been recognized as a best in class provider for project management by ALM Intelligence in 2019.
