In the evolution of transportation, electric vehicles (EVs) are continuing to pique the interest of audiences everywhere. But one question always looms over potential and current EV owners – where can I recharge my car? Though many EVs now have a range of 300-500 miles, recharging is still a concern as more than 1.2 million charging states are needed across the U.S. Vice President Jeff Smiley speaks on this transition from “range anxiety” to “charge anxiety” in a recent article from Inbound Logistics.
“The existing network is notorious for a large percentage being out of order,” said Smiley. “The availability and uptime of public charging must be addressed in order to impact public perception and pace of EV adoption.”
