September 19, 2017 (ATLANTA) - Today, global consulting firm North Highland named Richard Denness as Healthcare Global Lead and Managing Director. In his new role, Denness will be responsible for new business development, strategic planning, team leadership and operations management for the healthcare practice at North Highland.
“Richard is an entrepreneurial thinker with both visionary ability and global C-level experience,” said Jim Arnold, Managing Director and President at North Highland. “He has a strong business background with years of experience spanning sectors including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and payers. His varied areas of expertise will help us continue to develop our firm’s growing healthcare practice.”
Denness has more than 20 years of healthcare experience and served in senior management and C-Suite positions for a variety of organizations, including global pharmaceutical companies, medical device companies, and a healthcare management consultancy. He will provide oversight of the firm’s client services around important healthcare trends and topics including patient experience, physician engagement, telehealth and virtual health, specialty pharmacy and population health.

Denness is a graduate of Missouri State University where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Finance. Additionally, he completed the INSEAD Euro-Asian International Executive Program in Hong Kong.
