Sparks Grove's Clare Flitton Named CX Professional Woman Of The Year By UK Customer Experience Awards

October 03, 2017 (LONDON) - Sparks Grove, the experience design division of management consulting firm North Highland, is pleased to announce that Clare Flitton, Customer Experience Lead, has been named as CX Professional Woman of the Year by the UK Customer Experience Awards. The announcement was made at an awards ceremony at Wembley Stadium on 28th September 2017.

“We’re thrilled that Clare received this recognition,” said Chris Lamont, Market Lead for Sparks Grove in London. “Clare’s creativity and innovation has shone through in the way she’s applied the learnings and best practice from the private sector to such a wide range of public sector challenges. We are incredibly proud of the work she’s done.”

The award recognises Flitton’s thoughtful and insight-led approach to customer experience in the public sector. Flitton worked closely with local and central government organisations to change the way they think about Citizen’s Experience. Implementation rarely yielded expected savings, designs weren’t incentivising the right behaviour, and citizens were suffering life-changing consequences based on these shortcomings.

Flitton applied learnings and best practices from her private sector experience to a wide range of public sector challenges. Her focus on improving the day-to-day life of citizens in the UK was paramount.

“A standard approach to design and implementation doesn’t work in the public sector. There is no one size fits all,” said Flitton. “I am honoured to receive this recognition and, most importantly, look forward to seeing meaningful impact on the lives of all UK citizens as various public organisations take new approaches to engaging and serving constituents.”

The UK Customer Experience Awards recognise the best talent in customer experience and aim to inspire innovation in the field. They are owned and operated by Awards International. Founded in 2010, the awards are the largest and most prestigious in this area in the UK. Winners were decided by large panels of independent judges, professionals with deep background in business and customer experience.
