North Highland is a finalist in two categories of the 2024 Management Consultancies Association (MCA) awards:
- Change and Transformation in the Private Sector – in partnership with GSK
- Team Leader Consultant of the Year – UK Public Sector Lead Rachael Pickup
“Being honored once again by the MCA is a fantastic achievement for North Highland—especially our UK team,” said Tony Doocey, Managing Director at North Highland and MCA Board Member. “With both projects and leaders named as finalists, this recognition highlights our strong place among other top consultancies and reiterates our overall goal of delivering the best for our clients.”
North Highland’s project with GSK is a finalist in the category “Change and Transformation in the Private Sector.” This category demonstrates a structured, sustainable transition to a desired state involving key changes in ways of working. Our work with GSK modernized and transformed legacy systems and ways of working into a world-class analytics capability for clinical development—specifically working in the Statistics and Programming Analytics and Computing Environment (SPACE).
“The North Highland team has seamlessly partnered with GSK, bringing change management expertise and best practices to SPACE, while helping us design, deliver, and embed a suite of fit-for-future computing and analytics platforms for Biostatistics,” said Eileen Ching, SPACE Business Owner. “The team ensured people were brought into SPACE through North Highland’s dedicated focus on people-centered change, adoption, and engagement. I am incredibly proud of the change interventions we have implemented together throughout our partnership.”
The Team Leader Consultant of the Year award, for which UK Public Sector Lead Rachael Pickup is a finalist, recognizes those who’ve exhibited exceptional performance in building and leading project teams and working successfully with clients. Rachael has played a crucial part in supporting UK governments to meet and react to both immediate and emerging needs.
“Rachael is an inspirational leader, providing guidance and development throughout our community of consultants and clients,” said representatives from North Highland’s UK Public Sector team and a client at Border Force. “She drives development at the same time as driving effective delivery across her industry areas.”
North Highland is a proud member of the MCA and continues to put forward its best client projects and individual achievements for the awards, further cementing the firm and its people as changemakers and experts of their craft.
Winners will be announced during the awards dinner and ceremony on October 15, 2024. Learn more about North Highland’s 2023 win here.
