North Highland’s Lauren Childers Named CFO of the Year Finalist

We’re proud to congratulate Chief Financial Officer Lauren Childers on being named a finalist for this year’s CFO of the Year by the Atlanta Business Chronicle. This award honors Atlanta-based CFOs who recognize opportunities, identify and manage risks, diminish debt, achieve profitable growth, and stand as the corporate financial steward.

Lauren has held North Highland’s CFO position for six years. In her role, she leads the strategic and financial aspects of the company, offering a broader perspective linked to the firm’s people and the business’ overall operations. Prior to becoming CFO, Lauren’s vast experience allowed her to hold several positions, including public accounting, mergers & acquisitions, controllership, and financial & operational planning.

In addition to being CFO, Lauren works to inspire other working mothers in the consulting and financial industries, emphasizing the importance of work-life balance and breaking the mold of male-dominated spaces.

“I’m honored to be named a finalist for CFO of the Year amongst so many amazing leaders,” said Childers. “This recognition shows that women don’t have to choose between their families and their careers. We can be amazing in both roles.”

CFO of the Year finalists were honored during the awards breakfast in Atlanta, GA on May 16.
