We’re pleased to announce the availability of NH360 Portfolio Insights v6.14 – Product Update 14 (PU14). Product Updates include all previously released public updates and private hotfixes. We strongly recommend that any patch and release is validated in a non-production environment first before being applied to production environments.
Here is a list of changes that will be introduced with this update:
Strategy Hub
- Updated the format of the table view from the metric Progress Tracking dialog, when using Entire Timeline tracking frequency.
- Fixed issue with EndPeriod column not updating correctly in the MetricValuesAtEntityLevel OData view when changing the end date of a strategic objective.
Roadmap Manager
- Improved performance of roadmaps that display entities having many relationships, with filters defined in the roadmap definition.
- Fixed issue with the current entity timeline not being updated in the entity-level roadmap when updating only one of the Start Date or Finish Date entity fields.
- Fixed issue with fields mapped to financial values, using an entity’s currency, not being displayed with the correct currency symbol in the Relationships view.
- Fixed issue with Created By and Modified By field values not being formatted correctly in the Relationships view.
- Fixed issue with validation message not being displayed when users delete milestones.
Resource Manager
- Added new Financial Integration Settings option within the definition of entity types. Using this option, administrators can enforce the use of resource-level default cost category and allocation center mappings when synchronizing financial values with the resource plan, for entities created with specific entity types.
- Fixed issue with entity names being replaced with Null in My Resource Plans view when the Group By value is changed before the view loads.
- Fixed issue with financial value integration failing when resources have no value selected in the Default Allocation Center Mapping resource field or in the Allocation Center Mapping assignment field.
- Fixed issue with filter behavior from My Resources and My Resource Plan views when using resource fields with default values.
Portfolio Manager
- Fixed issue with not being able to load a plan while a different plan’s data is in the process of being refreshed.
Core Financial Capabilities
- Fixed issue with the Copy Financial Dimension ribbon button being disabled when only Budget type financial dimensions are assigned to the Enterprise Financial Type.
- Fixed issue with financial values being impacted by changes made on Financial Templates that are not being used by entities.
- Fixed issue with selected allocation centers being removed from the Allocation Centers Selected by Default setting when a new financial dimension is added to the global template.
- Fixed issue with validation message not being displayed when cropping financial timelines.
Other
- Added the capability to configure different entity types to have different required fields for the same workflow stage. Going forward, required fields will be selected in the Settings for Entity Types instead of the Manage Workflow Stages admin page.
- Added the capability to clear out field values using the Set Entity Field Value entity lifecycle transition action.
- Added the SnapshotsTemplateName and SnapshotTemplateGUID columns in the Snapshots OData view.
Replaced the View Workflow History link from the Workflow Status page with a dedicated History button in the Entity ribbon. - Added the capability to filter entity history entries using search.
- Increase character limit for Text entity fields with multiple lines to 3000 characters.
- Improved error handling for queue items.
- Added dependencies so that finish dates are always later than start dates.
- Fixed issue with dates from the Workflow Status page not being displayed in user’s own time zone.
- Fixed issue with workflows being terminated when emails cannot be sent to members of the selected SharePoint security group.
- Fixed issue with Date values from the Workflow History page being exported to Excel as text values.
Programmability
- Added the PreviousStageUid and PreviousStageName properties to the StageTranstion event.
- Added the ability to programmatically update people picker field values using their associated name, email or ID.
Additional Information
Starting with Product Update 15 (PU15), the Financial Breakdown feature will be deprecated from NH360 Portfolio Insights as part of our continuous efforts to streamline our products and focus on delivering more valuable experiences and functionalities. NH360 Portfolio Insights 6.15 is currently scheduled to be released on October 12th, 2024.
