North Highland’s Amy Turnquist Highlights the Importance of Empathy, Emotion in Creating Experiences in Life Sciences

According to North Highland’s research, only 20 percent of leaders in the life sciences industry feel very prepared to address customer experience this year. Luckily, there’s a lot that industry players can learn from visionary companies in and outside of life sciences.

Amy Turnquist, Life Sciences Principal at North Highland, participated in a conversation about experience at the May 2021 Digital Health Coalition’s Virtual Summit. In a new article, she offers her take on the Summit by capturing insights from experience leaders at AbbVie, Disney Institute, Petco, and more. Turnquist highlights the importance of empathy and emotion in creating exceptional experiences, building trust, and establishing brand loyalty among patients, providers, and caregivers.

North Highland is a member of the Digital Health Coalition. Per its website, the coalition was created to serve as the collective public voice and national public forum for the discussion of the current and future issues relevant to digital and electronic marketing of healthcare products and services.
