North Highland’s Kelli Klindtworth, Ed.D. Speaks on Mobility

Klindtworth was the Featured Speaker on June 2023 ALM Webinar

On June 28, 2023, North Highland’s Kelli Klindtworth, Ed.D. was the featured guest speaker on analyst firm ALM’s webinar, “Mobility: Talent Management, a New Approach to Mobility?”. The webinar was hosted by ALM analysts Ruth Sierra and Tomek Jankowski.

Klindtworth, North Highland’s associate vice president of people analytics and workforce transformation, offered her perspective on the importance of mobility as a vital asset. Mobility-oriented leaders manage not only the work at hand, but also their ability to get better. They orchestrate their people, skills, knowledge, IP, processes, data, and technology to adapt, continuously improve, and—in turn—unlock new value.

In the webinar, Klindtworth, Sierra, and Jankowski discussed the common pitfalls in many professional-service providers’ approaches to mobility, including the proclivity toward a reactive, compliance and cost-driven stance. Klindtworth put forward a more proactive vision for mobility: “[It] is best when it’s designed into the flow of work. It’s not about managing rightsizing. It’s about managing potential,” Klindtworth said.

Above all, what sets North Highland’s perspective and approach to mobility apart? According to Klindtworth, “North Highland talks about being ‘made for change.’ When you anchor to being made for change, you're operating at the speed of change, being adaptive and agile. That’s the cornerstone of mobility to us.”

The webinar follows North Highland’s placement as a Pacesetter in ALM Law.com Compass Research, “Innovation in Mobility 2023-2024.” As a Pacesetter, North Highland placed in the top four among the 15 providers evaluated in the report.

According to ALM, “Innovative professional service providers in 2023 have moved mobility beyond the regulatory-driven approach to one where the service emphasis is on integrating talent, skills, and technology management frameworks to help clients build comprehensive, long-term models.”
